Resume templates

6 resume templates. Each built for a different career story.

Row Sight ships 6 deliberately restrained templates instead of a wall of forty. Each one renders from the same structured document, exports to PDF and DOCX, and is mechanically checked after rendering: text extraction, page count, glyphs, clipping.

Essential

Maximum compatibility

A clear sans-serif default with conventional headings, disciplined spacing, and no visual noise between the reader and the evidence.

Often chosen for: Operations, early career, general business

Contemporary

Current and understated

A contemporary teal accent and open title-case hierarchy give product, healthcare, technology, and consulting profiles a current but restrained voice.

Often chosen for: Product, healthcare, technology, consulting

Professional

Traditional and polished

A centred serif masthead and traditional section rules create the formal register expected in finance, accounting, law, and administration.

Often chosen for: Finance, accounting, law, administration

Executive

Confident editorial hierarchy

Serif headings over a highly readable sans-serif body give senior profiles stronger hierarchy without introducing columns, sidebars, or decorative clutter.

Often chosen for: Senior leadership, strategy, communications

Technical

Engineering-document precision

Monospaced headings provide an engineering-document rhythm while the body remains a readable sans-serif. Technical character without sacrificing density.

Often chosen for: Software, data, engineering, skilled trades

Academic

Long-form scholarly CV

A scholarly serif, centred identity block, and restrained double rules support longer teaching, research, medical, and publication-heavy CVs.

Often chosen for: Teaching, research, medicine, publications

One document model underneath.

Your resume is stored as structured sections and blocks, not as a fragile page layout. Templates are projections of that structure, which is why switching between them reflows perfectly, why editing never breaks the page, and why the exported file always matches what you saw.

It is also why certain things are impossible here on purpose: no floating text boxes, no overlapping objects, no graphics carrying essential meaning, no multi-column body text. Those are the features that make resumes pretty in an editor and unreadable in an applicant tracking system.

Checked after rendering.

Every export runs through mechanical QA before you can download it. PDF text is extracted and checked against your document's content and for broken glyphs. DOCX files are independently converted by a separate office engine to confirm they open and produce readable text. If a file comes back empty or missing content, it does not ship.

  • Selectable text, verified by extraction
  • Single deterministic reading order
  • Standard section headings parsers expect
  • Letter page size for Canada and the US
  • Unicode normalized; no broken glyphs

Template questions

Why a curated set instead of forty templates?

Because every template must pass the same mechanical checks: selectable text, one reading order, clean PDF extraction, and an independent DOCX conversion check. 6 templates we verify beat forty we cannot.

Can I switch templates after generating?

Yes. All of them share one structured document model, so switching reflows your exact content deterministically. Nothing is retyped and nothing is lost.

Are these templates ATS-friendly?

They are built for parsing: real text, standard headings, single-column reading order in every one, and post-render checks on every export. We say ATS-friendly and parse-checked. No one can honestly promise more than that.

Can I add photos, graphics, or custom layouts?

No, deliberately. Photos and decorative graphics are conventions to avoid in Canada and the US, and floating layout elements are what break parsers. You control content, order, spacing, and type size within safe bounds.
